Why. Should You Participate in #iGiveCatholic? The U.S. Catholic Church’s Giving Day celebrates all aspects of our Catholic faith. The #iGiveCatholic Giving Day inspires faithful stewards to "Give Catholic" on #GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity and kindness. The mission of #iGiveCatholic is to unite Catholic communities and donors throughout the country to give back in support of the organizations that have always given to us: our parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries. Divinely interwoven in the souls of Catholics are gratitude and generosity. Called to receive God’s gifts gratefully, we share them, lovingly, in service to one another. Through our grateful and faith-filled response, we unite, giving back, and Giving Catholic, as, together, we provide food for the multitudes, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Donations will be accepted on iGiveCatholic.org during a 24-hour period. Under the Archdiocese of New Orleans profile on the IGC website, you will find St. Joseph Church & Shrine, St. Anthony Parish and St. Anthony School which will be accepting donations. If you would prefer not to donate online, a donation form, with instructions on how to participate, will be available in the rear of both churches and in the St. Joseph Parish Office. Please complete this form and bring to the Parish Office for processing.
