Sarah Jane McMahon, an acclaimed soprano soloist, will headline “Songs and Letters from World War II,” a Fourth of July Concert on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Rd., Metairie, LA. The Concert will feature letters from soldiers, patriotic songs and popular music from the war era. Sarah Jane will be joined by soloist, Linden Uter, the Music Director of St. Francis Xavier Church, and Margo Uter, who will read wartime letters from her grandparents. Admission is free.
