November is National Black Catholic History Month. The Office of Black Catholic Ministries is coordinating the Black Saints Celebration to recognize this month. All are welcome to participate in the 2022 Black Saints Celebration on November 5, 2022, beginning at 9:30am when participants will assemble for a parade at Bunny Friend Playground, 1903 Desire Street, followed by a 12:30pm Prayer Service at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 3501 N. Miro Street. If we cannot have the parade due to inclement weather, we will begin with the prayer service at St. Mary of the Angels Church at 12:30pm with our guest preacher, Fr. Anthony Bozeman, SSJ.
